The legend Larry Lee of Huntersville, NC sets a top the Gaston Used Auto Parts TOP Eliminator division tied with the Varner Brothers for first after three races. The veteran Ford racer Lee is tied with Travis and Billy Ray Varner Ill in their Mopar powered Dragsters with seventeen points each. Travis, the opening Top Points winner has placed in the Mooresville TOP 5 the last two years and is a former TOP Rookie of the year. Dale Green of Mooresville, NC in his Chevy Vega and Rick Henry from China Grove, NC in his Dragster round out the current Gaston Used Auto Parts TOP 5.

  2006 Team Dirty Mo Bracket Finals finalist Joe Thompson of Mooresville, NC leads the Foot Brake division. Thompson posted a big point’s race win on May 24^th at the IHRA Iron Man Classic in his Plymouth Barracuda.  The Mopar ace leads Ray Crane of Morganton, NC, Myk Patterson of Kannapolis, NC and Kelly Stevens of Bostic, NC by two points. Matt Finney of Landis, NC and Greg Schramm of Statesville, NC round out the Gaston Used Auto Parts Foot Brake TOP 5. The “Ice Man” Dillon Winkler of China Grove, NC leads the dragstripbrats.com Junior Dragster division after his IHRA Iron Man Classic victory May 24^th. Winkler leads Ricky Fesperman from Salisbury, NC by just one point going into this week’s dragstripbrats.com point’s series race. Mitch Weddington of Concord, NC holds down third and last year’s champion Mitchell Harkey of China Grove, NC goes fourth. Victor Vanover and Jesse Warren round out the current dragstripbrats.com TOP 5 points racers.
